It's been some time since I took an image from Persian Cartoon, but some very good things have appeared there since the June elections and the ensuing demonstrations. This one by Mohammad Tahani, whose work I'd not seen before, was the one that haunted me most. With all the allegations of rape in Iranian jails, it superbly captures the cruelty of the act and the helplessness of the victims.
