36,000 die every year in the States alone from normal, every-day, run-of-the mill flu. Where is WHO on this frightful plague? But something that bothered me more than the hype was the ease with which a lobby group was able to change the name of the disease from something people could easily remember, to something that looked like a secret formula. Swine Flu! Damn it! Remember the great flu scare of the mid-seventies?
