Re: Two cheers for Transhumanism
by Donna
Noted sociologist, Bill Bainbridge has explored the concept of slipping out of our deteriorating bodies and all that we are (actually, all that he and his colleagues were able to put into a huge database) being implanted into robotic or cloned hosts, allowing us (or who we become) to go on indefinitely. I participated in his massive survey / data collection some 9 or 10 years ago and unless the data has been scrapped, I assume that there is an imprint of "Donna" socked away somewhere in in those files. Whether or not it will ever be imprinted remains to be seen and really, I think it would probably end up as part of a collection of my type of genre. Shaken but not stirred.

This blog seeks to examine the various kinds of changes happening in our world as the 'Thelemic current,' the immense change initiated in 1904, gradually transforms human consciousness, individually and collectively.
